Quality Lab Techncian - 3rd Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
22.00 to $ 24.00 / hour Full Time work availableThird Shift
Training on First shift (Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
3rd shift- 11:00pm - 7:00am (training typically on 1st shift)
- Perform chemical tests that are simply chemistry in nature that include acid-base titrations (both manual and automated versions), solid and moisture determinations, color comparison testing, pH determination, conductivity, water in sample content measures, density and viscosity measures.
- Perform other special chemical and physical tests common to water treatment products and lubricant additives manufacturing.
- Electronically log in and label samples. Communicate with production staff and notify of test results
- Read temperature charts and graphs. Build and maintain a basic understanding of products
- Execute laboratory tests with accuracy and precision. Use instruments and other lab test equipment to determine sample/test results.
- Use all PPE (personal protective equipment) while in laboratories, abide by all safety rules and procedures, and work safely at all times.
- Read, understand, and apply handling cautions as stated in the lab's material Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
Quality Lab Techncian - 3rd Qualifications:
- Previous experience in lab environment preferred.
- Able to read/write English.
- Able to multitask.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
