Minimum Essential Coverage, Vision, and Dental Plans
Our TransAmerica plan—including health, vision, dental, and Rx—has been designed exclusively for our temporary associates. Additionally, Elwood Staffing now offers a health insurance plan that meets the "minimum essential coverage" requirement for individuals under the Affordable Care Act. Employees are eligible to enroll during their first 30 days of employment or during the company-wide open enrollment period. Benefit plans are fully portable, meaning an employee and his or her dependents won't lose coverage if he or she seeks employment outside of Elwood Staffing.
Life and Disability Insurance
Temporary associates are also entitled to life and disability insurance through TransAmerica. Employees are eligible to enroll during their first 30 days of employment or during the company-wide open enrollment period.
Convenient Payroll Options
Associates are paid on a weekly basis. There's never a waiting period, and payroll can be directly deposited into an associate's bank account. For employee convenience, we also offer a debit card payment option.
Elwood associates have the opportunity to earn holiday pay and access to online training and skills enhancement programs and enjoy recognition programs.
