Material Handler Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
18.00 to $ 19.00 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
Various shifts available
A Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
B Shift: 7:00 PM – 5:30 AM
Overtime may be required*
Working Days: Rotating schedule, which may include any day from Sunday through Saturday. Flexibility to work various days each week is required. Overtime may be required.
- Operate sit-down forklifts, stand-up forklifts, and cherry pickers safely and efficiently to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
- Perform shipping and receiving duties, including unloading, inspecting, and documenting incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Accurately pick and pack orders according to specifications, ensuring proper labeling and preparation for shipment.
- Conduct inventory counts and maintain organized storage areas.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding operational status and issues.
Material Handler Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating a Cherry Picker.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Sit-Down Forklift operation.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Stand-Up Forklift operation.
- Fluent in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, up to 12-hour shifts.
- Capable of lifting up to 30 lbs occasionally as required.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move around for 8-10 hours, potentially up to 12-hour shifts.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry items up to 30 lbs
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
