Mig Welder

Responsibilities include assembling metal components, reading blueprints, and performing quality checks. Welders utilize primarily MIG welding techniques, working in standard flat (1G/1F) and horizontal (2G/2F) positions on stationary tables or rotating fixtures.

Mig Welder Details:

  • Temp-to-Hire position
  • $18.00 /hour
  • Full Time work available
  • Weekend work required
  • First Shift (Monday through Friday from 05:00am to 04:30pm)

Responsibilities:

•Fabricate and assemble metal components using welding and other metalworking techniques.

•Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and other drawings to determine the specific welding requirements.

•Perform quality control checks on welds and fabrication work.

•Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

•Operate welding equipment safely and efficiently.

•Use hand tools to shape, cut, and join metal components.

Must have experience with Mig Welding sheet metal.

Monday - Thursday 5:00 am-4:30 pm

Friday  5:00 am-3:30 pm

Will work half days on Saturdays often

Mig Welder Qualifications:

The core requirements include: Experience: 1 to 2 years of practical experience in a manufacturing or production welding environment.

Welding Techniques: High proficiency in MIG welding, with TIG or Flux-Cored knowledge considered a plus. Must be capable of welding components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions.

Blueprint & Layout: Strong ability to interpret engineering blueprints, welding symbols, and customer specifications.

Certifications: Current or previous AWS welding certifications are highly preferred, though the ability to pass an on-site, internal weld test is usually accepted.
