We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Quality Assurance (QA) Lab Technician to join our team at a fast-paced apple processing facility. This role is responsible for ensuring product quality, food safety, and compliance with company and regulatory standards through routine testing and inspection.

QA Lab Tech Details:
Temporary position- $
20.85 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
First Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 07:00am to04:00pm )
- Perform quality tests on incoming and processed apple products (e.g., firmness, sugar levels, acidity)
- Conduct inspections to ensure product meets company and customer specifications
- Accurately record and report test results and findings Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to food safety standards (HACCP, GMPs)
- Identify and communicate quality issues to production and management teams Maintain cleanliness and organization of lab equipment and workspace
- Assist with audits, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives
QA Lab Tech Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in food science or related field preferred
- Previous QA or lab experience in food processing is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer skills (data entry, spreadsheets)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends during peak season
