Material Handler Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
15.00 to $ 22.00 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
Various shifts available ( Monday throughFriday )
- Loading & Unloading: Move incoming shipments off trucks or containers.
- Load outgoing shipments according to instructions or manifests.
- Transporting Materials:Move materials within the facility using pallet jacks, dollies, or forklifts (if certified).
- Deliver supplies to production areas or staging locations.
- Inventory Management Support: Count, label, and organize materials or products.
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits.
- Ensure correct materials are picked and staged.
- Packing & Wrapping: Package products or materials safely for transport or storage.
- Label shipments or storage containers accurately.
- Documentation: Maintain records of materials moved, received, or shipped.
- Use scanners, warehouse management systems (WMS), or paper logs.
- Safety & Cleanliness: Follow safety protocols when handling heavy or hazardous materials.
- Keep work areas clean and free of obstructions.
Material Handler Qualifications:
- Physical strength and stamina (lifting up to ~50 lbs typically)
- Basic math and reading skills
- Ability to use hand trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts (with certification)
- Attention to detail and organization
- Teamwork and communication
- Ability to understand, read, and write in English
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
