Truss Assembler Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
15.50 to $ 17.50 / hour Full Time work availableVarious shifts available
- Sort different grades of wood to be used to assemble trusses
- Place different lengths of wood in alignment to be nailed together to form the trusses
- Operate hand tools and power tools to assemble trusses
- Inspect and measure trusses to ensure they meet specified standards for accuracy, alignment, and quality
- Assist in loading and unloading materials
Truss Assembler Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience using a tape measure, hand tools and power tools
- Experience in construction, carpentry, or manufacturing, especially in an assembly role, is preferred
- Ability to stand for 8-10 hours, bend, kneel, step up and down, lift and move heavy materials (typically up to 50 lbs or more) throughout the shift
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
