Identify incoming core in accordance with the appropriate work instructions to ensure that core can be built into the required finished goods. These positions may perform other duties as assigned or fill in for others in the department or other departments as needed or requested. May train or instruct fellow workers regarding duties. Elwood is hiring Press Operators for a company that serves the military, medical, food service, aerospace, and high technology industries in Dayton, Ohio You would be operating a press machine forming rubber products and trimming if necessary

Performs variety of production functions, including but not limited to: • Responsible for setting up and operating various computer numerically controlled machines to perform machining operations. • Starts and observes machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, and adjusts machine controls required. • Works with engineers, production personnel, programmers, or others to resolve machining problems and product issues. • Verifies conformance of finished work-piece to specifications • Performs other duties as assigned.
