Male Specimen Collector Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
18.00 to $ 26.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 08:00am to05:00pm )
- Collect biological specimens from male patients.
- Verify patient identity and ensure proper consent before specimen collection.
- Explain collection procedures clearly and respectfully to patients.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), infection control, and biosafety guidelines.
- Properly label, store, and transport specimens to the laboratory.
- Maintain accurate documentation and chain-of-custody records. Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of collection areas and equipment.
- Handle specimens with confidentiality and comply with data privacy regulations.
- Report any irregularities, incidents, or sample issues to supervisors.
Male Specimen Collector Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Prior experience in specimen collection or healthcare settings is an advantage.
- Knowledge of hygiene, infection control, and safety procedures.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain patient dignity and confidentiality at all times.
- Physically able to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
