Payroll HR Assistant Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
24.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 08:00am to05:00pm )
Payroll Duties:
- Process weekly payroll and maintain payroll records
- Enter employee payroll data and updates
- Track deductions, benefits, and tax information
- Prepare payroll reports and earnings records
- Issue paychecks as needed
Human Resources duties:
- Maintain employee personnel records
- Assist with recruiting and application processing
- Coordinate onboarding and new hire paperwork
- Track vacation accruals and employee benefits
- Manage open enrollment and benefit renewals
- Administer workers’ compensation claims and records
- Support general HR functions and employee relations
Payroll HR Assistant Qualifications:
- 1+ year of payroll and/or HR experience
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office programs
- Payroll software experience preferred (UltiPro a plus)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to handle confidential information
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
