Fitter/Fabricator Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
35.00 to $ 40.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 06:00am to02:30pm )
- Responsible for the fabrication, fitting, repair, and rebuilding of heavy equipment components and structural steel assemblies.
- Duties include simple fabrication of small parts, bucket builds and repairs for loader and excavator equipment, and the fabrication and repair of silos, chutes, and haul truck bed liners.
- Must be able to read drawings, use fabrication tools and equipment, and work safely in a manufacturing or shop environment.
Fitter/Fabricator Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certification in welding, fabrication, or a related trade is a plus.
- Previous experience in fabrication, fitting, welding, metalworking, or heavy equipment repair preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and measuring instruments accurately.
- Proficient in the safe use of hand tools, power tools, grinders, torches, and other fabrication equipment.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork in an industrial environment.
