Inventory Clerk Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
18.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 06:00am to04:30pm )
- Receive, inspect, organize, and accurately record incoming materials.
- Maintain accurate receiving, purchasing, and inventory records.
- Assist with weekly, quarterly, and annual physical inventory counts.
- Monitor inventory levels and replenish departmental supplies as needed.
- Organize and transport wood materials, including dimensional lumber and sheet stock, to CNC machines, beam saws, and cutting stations.
- Collect and distribute cut materials to designated production areas. Ensure materials are properly labeled, stored, and located.
- Communicate with vendors and report updates to the Purchasing Manager as needed.
- Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials.
Inventory Clerk Qualifications:
- Experience in inventory, receiving, warehouse operations, or manufacturing preferred.
- Forklift and pallet jack experience required.
- Basic reading, math, and recordkeeping skills. Ability to read work orders and understand product specifications.
- Familiarity with wood materials, manufacturing processes, or production equipment is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Physically capable of lifting and moving heavy materials throughout the workday.
- Dependable attendance, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
