Assistant Store Manager Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
17.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift
- Assist the Store Manager with daily operations, employee supervision, and overall store performance
- Lead by example in providing excellent customer service and recommending products based on customer needs
- Assist customers with batteries, chargers, lighting products, device repairs, and related services
- Support battery testing, diagnostics, installations, and replacements
- Train, coach, and motivate employees to meet sales and customer service goals
- Handle customer concerns, resolve issues, and ensure a positive shopping experience
- Oversee POS transactions, cash handling, returns, and daily reporting
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, scheduling, and task delegation
- Maintain inventory accuracy, merchandising standards, and store organization
- Receive shipments, stock merchandise, and assist with inventory counts
- Monitor sales performance and help implement strategies to achieve store goals
Assistant Store Manager Qualifications:
- Previous retail experience required; supervisory or leadership experience preferred
- Strong customer service, sales, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lead, train, and motivate a team
- Comfortable learning technical products, battery applications, and basic device repairs
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and operate basic material-handling equipment
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
- Dependable, professional, and results-driven
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
