Forklift Operator Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
18.00 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
Various shifts available ( Monday throughSaturday )
Shift Schedule
- 1st Shift: 5:30 AM - 4:00 PM
- 2nd Shift: 4:00 PM - 2:30 AM
- Shifts rotate every 2 months- you must be able to work 1st or 2nd shift
- Overtime may be required during peak times
The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely operating heavy equipment to move, store, and load products throughout the facility while supporting production and shipping operations.
- Operate forklifts to load and unload materials and pallets
- Perform daily forklift inspections.
- Check oil, water, and fuel levels.
- Supply pallets to production lines.
- Move finished product from production to staging areas.
- Operate stretch-wrap equipment.
- Store finished goods in designated inventory locations.
- Load shipments using Bills of Lading (BOLs).
- Report shipping discrepancies promptly.
- Assist with inventory counts.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety, quality, and productivity standards
Forklift Operator Qualifications:
- Previous forklift experience required
- Ability to safely operate a forklift in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to climb on and off equipment throughout the shift.
- Ability to sit for extended periods while operating equipment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Facility is nicotene free facility (no smoking, vaping or dipping)
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
