Mechanic
We are seeking a dependable and skilled Small & Large Engine Mechanic to join our team. This position is responsible for maintaining and repairing company vehicles, trailers, and equipment to ensure safe, efficient operations.

Mechanic Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
20.00 to $ 25.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 07:00am to03:30pm )
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair company trucks, trailers, and construction equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, brake service, tire repairs, and fluid checks.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues to minimize equipment downtime.
- Maintain and repair small engines such as generators, compressors, saws, and other jobsite equipment.
- Complete preventative maintenance inspections and identify potential issues before failures occur.
- Keep accurate maintenance records, service logs, and equipment inspection reports.
- Assist with equipment setup, transportation preparation, and occasional field repairs as needed.
Mechanic Qualifications:
- Wage depends on experience
- Previous experience working on small engines, diesel engines, trucks, trailers, or heavy equipment preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and repair equipment issues.
- Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and fuel systems.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple repair tasks.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in both shop and outdoor environments.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
