Elwood Staffing is seeking a dependable, organized, and hands-on Warehouse Associate / Volunteer Coordinator to support our warehouse operations and humanitarian relief efforts. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, operating equipment, working with people, and helping coordinate community events and volunteer activities.

Warehouse Assistant Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
18.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 08:00am to05:00pm )
- Operate a forklift and safely load, unload, move, and store materials.
- Receive, organize, and maintain inventory within the warehouse.
- Coordinate, schedule, and supervise volunteers for warehouse projects and events.
- Assist with planning and supporting community outreach events.
- Perform data entry, inventory tracking, and maintain accurate records.
- Ensure the warehouse remains clean, organized, and safe.
- Provide excellent support to volunteers, donors, and team members.
Warehouse Assistant Qualifications:
- Reliable and self-motivated
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Comfortable leading and coordinating volunteers
- Skilled in both warehouse operations and administrative tasks
- Passionate about helping others and serving the community
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds regularly.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach throughout the workday.
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment and occasionally outdoors.
- Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment and machinery.
