Elwood Staffing is hiring experienced, safety-conscious Class A CDL Drivers to support oilfield transportation and field operations in Midland, TX! We're looking for dependable professionals who are comfortable operating commercial vehicles in demanding industrial environments and are ready to contribute both behind the wheel and in the field.
Wage - $18-$22 an hour! LOTS of overtime!

CDL Class A Driver Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
18.00 to $ 22.00 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
Various shifts available
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles equipped with both manual (standard) and automatic transmissions. Transport oilfield equipment, tools, and materials between designated locations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Properly load, unload, and secure equipment and materials.
- Maintain accurate driver logs, inspection reports, and transportation records.
- Comply with DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety standards.
- Assist field crews with equipment setup, rig-up, rig-down, and general operational duties. Identify and report mechanical issues or maintenance concerns.
- Work rotating shifts to meet operational needs. Maintain a professional, safety-first approach in all driving and field activities.
CDL Class A Driver Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED requires
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Must be able to operate BOTH manual (standard) and automatic transmission commercial vehicles.
- Ability to perform physical labor and assist with field operations.
- Strong commitment to safety, reliability, and teamwork.
- Previous oilfield or industrial transportation experience.
- Experience hauling specialized equipment and materials.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with industrial job sites.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Applicant may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Report
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
