Commissioning Oversight Representative Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
100.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 08:00am to05:00pm )
• Review contractor commissioning submittals, RFIs, testing procedures, and commissioning plans for compliance
• Provide on?site oversight of Testing and Commissioning activities and witness testing performed by contractors.
• Prepare and submit daily reports
• Prepare commissioning guidance documentation
• Support station engineering during equipment interfaces, system integration activities, and operational readiness
• Review relay protection settings and commissioning records as required.
• Provide troubleshooting support
• Conduct daily safety tailgate meetings and Job Hazard Analyses
• Monitor commissioning progress
Commissioning Oversight Representative Qualifications:
• Prior successful experience performing commissioning support services for HVDC Converter Stations of comparable complexity and scope.
• Familiarity with commissioning responsibilities for HVDC converter stations, including activities such as witnessing transformer and breaker testing, relay functional testing, SCADA checkout, end-to-end testing, and energization procedures.
• Experience covering major HVDC subsystems, including but not limited to: a. Converter transformers, thyristor/valve halls, cooling systems, AC and DC switchyards, DC filters, AC filters, auxiliary systems, and associated protection and control systems.
