Product Development Scientist Details:
Direct Hire position- $
75,000.00 to $ 95,000.00 / annually First Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 08:00am to05:00pm )
Job Details
- Develop and formulate new powdered beverages, dietary supplements, and nutritional bar products
- Create and evaluate benchtop, pilot-scale, and production-scale formulations
- Support product scale-up activities from development through commercialization
- Collaborate with Operations to optimize formulations for manufacturing and production equipment
- Conduct stability, shelf-life, sensory, and analytical testing on new and existing products
- Review formulations, batch sheets, labels, and raw material documentation to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Troubleshoot formulation and processing issues while driving continuous product improvements
Product Development Scientist Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Chemistry, or a related field
- 5+ years of product development experience in food, beverage, or dietary supplement manufacturing
- Experience developing powdered beverages, powdered supplements, and/or nutritional bar products
- Knowledge of GMPs, food safety regulations, and FDA labeling requirements
- Experience scaling products from benchtop development to full commercial production
- Ability to evaluate ingredient functionality, nutritional profiles, and raw material specifications
- Proficiency with Genesis R&D or similar formulation software, along with Microsoft Office applications
