CNC Setup Operator Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
18.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 07:00am to03:30pm )
- Set up and operate Okuma CNC machines for production
- Load programs, make edits, and adjust tool offsets as needed
- Install and change tooling, including drills, taps, reamers, and boring bars
- Read blueprints and work instructions to ensure quality and accuracy
- Perform inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring equipment
- Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and dimensional issues
- Monitor production, maintain machine performance, and meet production goals
- Complete routine machine maintenance and maintain quality documentation
CNC Setup Operator Qualifications:
- Previous CNC setup experience required
- Okuma CNC experience preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Experience setting offsets and making program adjustments
- Knowledge of machining practices, tooling, and quality standards
- Proficiency using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other inspection equipment
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Forklift experience is a plus
- Ability to lift parts and stand for the duration of the shift
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
