We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Temporary Press Brake Operator to join our metal fabrication team. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for operating press brake machinery to precisely shape metal components according to specifications. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced operator to contribute to a dynamic production environment

Press Brake Operator Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
22.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 07:00am to04:00pm )
- Read and accurately interpret engineering blueprints, drawings, and work orders to determine machine setups and operational sequences.
- Select, install, and adjust appropriate tooling, including punches and dies, for various bending and forming tasks.
- Load and accurately position metal workpieces onto the press brake.
- Operate the press brake machine to bend, form, and shape materials, ensuring precision and quality throughout the process.
- Monitor machine operations, making necessary adjustments to settings (e.g., pressure, speed) to achieve desired outcomes.
- Perform quality inspections on finished parts using precision measuring tools such as calipers, gauges, and protractors to verify compliance with required tolerances and specifications.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
Press Brake Operator Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator, with expertise in operating a brake press.
- Strong ability to read and accurately interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Proficiency in using a tape measure for precise measurements.
- Capable of performing quality checks with various measuring tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to stand for long periods throughout the shift.
- Experience using micrometers and calipers for highly accurate measurements.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
