Press Break Operator Weekends Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
19.00 / hour Full Time work availableWeekend Shift ( Friday throughSunday from 06:00am to06:00pm )
**Press Brake Operator Weekends** Friday - Sunday, 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- Read and accurately interpret work orders, production schedules, and engineering blueprints to determine material requirements, machine settings, and final product specifications.
- Set up press brake machines
- Operate, position, align, and secure workpieces against fixtures or stops on machine beds or dies to perform various operations such as sawing, cutting, shearing, slitting, punching, crimping, notching, bending, or straightening metal.
- Adjust machine speeds, forces, and back gauges, and utilize both gauges and CNC controls to make precise adjustments for optimal operation and product quality.
- Measure completed workpieces using precision tools measuring to standards and blueprint specifications.
- Examine workpieces thoroughly for any defects or non-conformances and report findings as necessary.
- Manually lift dies and workpieces to machines as part of the setup and operating process.
Press Break Operator Weekends Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints effectively.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and tape measures.
- Proven experience operating press brake machinery.
- Ability to frequently lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
