Accounting Coordinator Details:
Direct Hire position- $
50,000.00 to $ 55,000.00 / annually First Shift
- Process customer payments and assist with daily cash application
- Maintain accurate customer account records and update account information
- Prepare and distribute invoices, statements, and account documentation
- Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on routine past-due balances
- Research payment discrepancies and help resolve billing questions
- Assist with new customer account setup and collection of credit references
- Support weekly accounts receivable reports and reconciliations
- Communicate professionally with customers and internal teams regarding account status
- Provide administrative support to the accounting team and assist with special projects as needed
Accounting Coordinator Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related coursework preferred
- 1-2 years of accounting, accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or administrative experience
- Working knowledge of basic accounting principles and accounts receivable processes
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & VLOOKUP. ERP or accounting software experience preferred (Kerridge K8 a plus)
- Clear written and verbal communication skills with a customer-service mindset
- Ability to manage routine priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively as part of a team
