Coordinate daily freight movement by inputting loads, assigning drivers, communicating with drivers and customers, monitoring shipments, and ensuring on-time, compliant deliveries. Serves as the primary communication link between drivers, customers, brokers, shippers, receivers, and internal operations.

Dispatcher Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
17.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 08:00am to04:30pm )
- Key Duties: Assign loads based on driver availability, equipment, location, delivery deadlines, and hours-of-service status. Communicate pickup, delivery, routing, and customer requirements. Track shipments, driver progress, and estimated arrival times. Provide updates to customers and internal teams. Resolve issues such as delays, breakdowns, missed appointments, and route changes. Maintain dispatch records and shipping documentation. Deliver strong customer service and resolve service-related concerns.
Dispatcher Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication with drivers, customers, brokers, and internal staff.
- Ability to type quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced dispatch environment.
- Strong communication, organization, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and maintain accurate records.
- Dispatch, logistics, transportation, customer service, data-entry or related experience preferred.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
