Yard Hostler Morning Hours Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
20.25 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
First Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 06:30am to02:30pm )
- Safely operate yard hostler equipment to move and position loaded and empty trailers between dock doors and designated yard locations.
- Assist with freight movement and loading/unloading operations using approved material-handling equipment.
- Inspect equipment, document conditions, and report damage, discrepancies, or safety concerns.
- Complete yard checks and maintain accurate records while coordinating with warehouse personnel.
- Follow company safety procedures and maintain an organized, efficient work area.
Yard Hostler Morning Hours Qualifications:
- Ability to safely operate yard equipment and follow warehouse and dock safety procedures.
- Strong attention to detail, dependable attendance, and ability to work in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Ability to complete equipment inspections, follow written instructions, and accurately document work activities.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and repeatedly enter and exit equipment throughout the shift.
- Comfortable working around commercial vehicles and powered equipment in varying warehouse and outdoor weather conditions.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
