Yard Jocky Night Hours Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
21.25 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
Third Shift ( Sunday throughThursday from 10:30pm to06:30am )
- Operate a yard hostler to safely move empty and loaded trailers between dock doors and designated yard locations.
- Complete 65 or more trailer moves per shift using onboard tracking systems after training.
- Perform pre-shift and post-shift equipment inspections, documenting conditions and reporting maintenance concerns.
- Conduct daily yard checks, transport freight to assigned areas, and report damages or discrepancies.
- Maintain safe yard operations and follow all company safety procedures in a fast-paced environment.
Yard Jocky Night Hours Qualifications:
- Ability to safely operate yard equipment and follow trailer movement and dock safety procedures.
- Strong attention to detail, dependable attendance, and ability to work in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.
- Ability to walk consistently, climb stairs, bend, squat, and repeatedly enter and exit yard equipment.
- Ability to perform required pushing and pulling tasks and work in varying outdoor weather conditions.
- Ability to learn onboard tracking systems and accurately complete equipment inspections and yard documentation.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
