Candlemaker (General Labor) Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
15.50 to $ 17.00 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
Various shifts available
- Monday – Friday, 8 hour shifts
- 1st shift: start times 5:00 am, 5:30 am and 6:30 am
- 2nd shift: start times 1:00 pm, 1:30pm and 2:30 pm
- 3rd shift: start times 9:00 pm, 9:30 pm and 10:30 pm
- Loading glass onto conveyor
- Clean candles and apply labels
- Place lids on candles and pack for shipping
- Tape and stack boxes on pallet
- Use of hand tools, including wick cutters, pokers, hooks, pliers, scissors, safety knife and tape machine
Candlemaker (General Labor) Qualifications:
- Ability to frequently lift and move up to 50 lbs.
- Prolonged standing, walking, bending, reaching, and the ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures.
- Prefer 6-months of prior manufacturing or machine operating experience.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Comfortable working in an environment where strong odors and fragrances are present.
- Multilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, including Spanish-speaking and Haitian Creole-speaking candidates.
