Laser/Punch Operator Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
24.00 / hour Full Time work availableSecond Shift ( Monday throughThursday from 03:15pm to01:45am )
- PUNCH and Laser Operation experience; Minimum of 2 years
- Maintain and Trouble Shoot (preferred: Amada) PUNCHES + Lasers for Precision Custom fabrication
- Automation experience preferred / but will train.
- Punch experience preferred / but will train.
- Familiarity with nesting desired.
- Knowledgeable/experience in changing lenses and conducting routine preventive laser maintenance.
- Programming / modifying downloaded programs.
- Proven ability to read and interpret prints/drawings to fabricate parts.
- Ability to identify metals such as cold rolled, galvaneel, stainless, aluminum, etc.
Laser/Punch Operator Qualifications:
- Physically able to manually offload materials; Pulling, pushing, grasping, metal products between 15-75 lbs. with regularly.
- High attention to detail and safety.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Formal Laser training preferred but not required / OTJ experience considered
- Familiarity with ISO procedures /quality standards is beneficial.
- Independence is necessary - as is the ability to work as a part of a team.
- Standing, Sitting, Reaching, Bending, Stretching, Lifting to 75 lbs.
- Pushing, Pulling, Fine tactical skills necessary.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
