Fabrication/Hardware Assistant Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
20.00 / hour Full Time work availableSecond Shift ( Monday throughThursday from 03:15pm to01:45am )
- Supports various departments on shop floor including but not limited to: Fabrication, Hardware insertion, Shipping/Packaging, Powder (prep)·
- Ability to read/learn to read and accurately interpret prints.
- Previous knowledge, experience interest in metal work/fabrication; assembly of products etc.
- Ability to accurately identify various metals such as a variety of Steels, Aluminum, etc.
- Ability to learn Hardware insertion
- Operate Finishing equipment such as a Fladder, Hand grinders, deburring equipment, etc.
- Mechanically inclined and able to use a variety of power and hand tools.
Fabrication/Hardware Assistant Qualifications:
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. with regularity. (average parts run 2-15 lbs)
- Physical ability to stand, squat, bend, reach, pull and push during course of an 8 or 10 hour shift.
- Attention to detail and fine tactical ability.
- Ability to follow and retain instructions.
- Organizational skills.
- Pallet jack and/or forklift experience helpful.
- Reliable/dependable attendance record.
- Ability to take direction; working as a part of a team as well as independently.
- Minimal computer experience (Word/Excel, business software system).
- Job Shop experience preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
