We are seeking a motivated, safety-conscious Press Helper to support our printing press operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and takes pride in producing high-quality work. The Press Helper is responsible for assisting press operators with setup, production, maintenance, material handling, and maintaining a clean and organized work area.

Press Helper Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
16.00 to $ 18.00 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
Various shifts available ( Sunday throughSaturday from 07:00am to07:00pm )
- Assist press operators with machine setup and job changeovers.
- Verify paper stock, inks, plates, and production materials against job specifications.
- Support roll changes, rewinder setup, and auxiliary equipment preparation.
- Monitor ink levels, paper supply, and production quality throughout runs.
- Assist with troubleshooting web breaks and production interruptions.
- Ensure production materials are stocked and readily available.
- Perform routine cleaning and upkeep of press equipment.
- Help maintain fountain solution and lubrication systems.
- Report equipment issues promptly and assist with minor maintenance tasks.
- Support startup and shutdown procedures to keep equipment operating efficiently.
Press Helper Qualifications:
Manufacturing, printing, warehouse, or machine operator experience preferred but not required.
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on your feet throughout the shift.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Dependable attendance and punctuality.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Forklift experience is a plus.
