Shipping and Receiving Specialist + Forklift Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
19.00 to $ 22.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 08:30am to05:00pm )
- Manage inbound receiving and outbound shipping using a WMS.
- Receive shipments, verify quantities, and document discrepancies/damages.
- Maintain accurate inventory records.
- Create shipments, labels, and paperwork for carriers.
- Prepare orders according to packing/labeling requirements.
- Safely operate sit-down and/or stand-up reach forklifts.
- Use RF scanners, Zebra printers, and other warehouse technology.
- Ensure inventory matches system records and track discrepancies.
Shipping and Receiving Specialist + Forklift Qualifications:
• Current forklift certification - sit-down counterbalance and/or stand-up reach, with recent seat time.
• Warehouse management system (WMS) experience — hands-on, daily use of a real WMS for receiving against purchase orders, put away, picking, packing, cycle counts, and creating shipments. ShipHero experience is strongly preferred.
• 1+ year of shipping and receiving experience in a warehouse, distribution center, 3PL, or ecommerce fulfillment operation.
• Carrier shipping experience — has created labels and paperwork in FedEx, UPS, DHL, or USPS systems and understands bills of lading and packing lists for LTL freight.
• Comfortable working in a web-based system, using email, and reading a spreadsheet.
• Able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for a full 8–10 hour shift.
