Maintenance Tech I Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
19.00 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
First Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 08:30am to05:00pm )
- Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general maintenance repairs in apartment units.
- Prepare vacant units for new residents through repairs, cleaning, and painting.
- Complete work orders and document maintenance activities.
- Maintain grounds, common areas, and building exteriors.
- Participate in on-call rotations and assist during emergency or weather-related events.
Maintenance Tech I Qualifications:
- Previous experience in apartment maintenance, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, or general maintenance required.
- Ability to troubleshoot and complete basic repairs independently.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
- Valid Virginia driver's license required.
- High School Diploma/GED required; vocational or trade training preferred
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
