Material Handler Weekend AM Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
19.00 / hour Part Time work available- Weekend work required
Weekend Shift ( Saturday throughSunday from 06:00am to04:30pm )
- Handle freight manually: Load and unload items weighing up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 100 pounds.
- Receive and verify shipments: Check incoming cargo against shipping documents, noting any damage or discrepancies to ensure accuracy.
- Sort and organize: Place materials on racks, shelves, or in bins according to a predetermined sequence (e.g., size, color, or product code).
- Prepare orders: Assemble customer orders from stock, and package items according to specifications.
Material Handler Weekend AM Qualifications:
- Must have steel toe or composite toe shoes
- Ability to frequently crouch, bend, stoop, reach, and lift heavy items.
- Must be able to stand and walk significant distances for the entire 10-hour shift.
- Must be able to consistently lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds repetitively throughout shift.
- Must be able to work in an indoor non-climate control environment
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
