Harvest Processing Associate Details:
Temporary position- $
20.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 08:00am to04:30pm )
- We have openings for energetic and committed team members to support operations activities to support the Nebraska soybean breeding program.
- These are temporary, entry level positions for day shift only.
- Most activities are done with a team of technicians under the supervision of full-time employees.
- Harvest preparation
- Data collection using Microsoft Word and Excel
- Hand harvest of soybean
- Machine and single head threshing
- Seed processing
- Seed inventory data collection and entry in Microsoft Word
- These positions will work both outdoors and indoors in variable conditions, with potential exposure to sun, heat, dust, and insects
Harvest Processing Associate Qualifications:
- Agronomy, horticulture, biology, and/or crop experience preferred, but not required
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull 50 lbs
- Basic computing skills in order to use Microsoft Office applications
- Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with a half-hour lunch, Monday through Friday; some weekend and overtime during peak harvest season
- Valid driver's license required
- Location: Milford, Nebraska
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Applicant may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Report
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
