Capstone Mechanic Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
22.00 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
Various shifts available ( Sunday throughSaturday from 06:00am to05:00pm )
- Inspect, diagnose, service, and repair diesel and/or natural-gas generator systems and associated components.
- Perform preventive maintenance, including fluid and filter changes, battery checks, load testing, and visual inspections.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, fuel, cooling, starting, charging, and control-system issues.
- Read and interpret service manuals, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical specifications.
- Use diagnostic tools and test equipment safely and accurately.
Capstone Mechanic Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred.
- Previous experience repairing generators, diesel engines, industrial equipment, heavy equipment, or comparable machinery preferred.
- Working knowledge of engines, electrical systems, controls, and preventive maintenance practices.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, meters, and diagnostic equipment.
- Valid driver's license with clean record.
- Travel out of town is required.
- Applicant may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Report
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
