Accounting Assistant Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
20.00 to $ 22.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 08:00am to04:30pm )
- Process incoming and outgoing mail efficiently.
- Accurately process invoices, ensuring proper coding and approvals.
- Manage Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R) functions, including data entry, reconciliations, and vendor/customer communications.
- Assist with payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate compensation.
- Provide support for various office management tasks as needed to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Assist with human resources (HR) tasks, including record keeping and administrative support.
Accounting Assistant Qualifications:
- Proven experience in AR & AP.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
- Proficiency with standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- Ability to work effectively in a first-shift, full-time capacity.
- Previous experience as an HR Assistant preferred.
- Prior bookkeeping experience preferred.
- Ability to sit for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds occasionally, if required.
