Direct Hire position- $
19.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 07:00am to03:30pm )
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented individual for a Industrial Sewer position. While titled "Packaging," the primary focus of this role involves the precise stitching of textile prototypes. This position is crucial for maintaining the quality and integrity of our textile products, working closely with our engineering team, and contributing to overall process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform accurate and high-quality stitching of textile prototypes according to specifications and designs.
- Assure the quality of all stitched products meets expected standards through meticulous inspection and adherence to guidelines.
- Provide constructive feedback to the engineering department regarding drawing details, and advise on potential process improvements to enhance efficiency and product quality.
- Strictly adhere to all company health and safety rules and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all.
- Must be able to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and may involve standing or sitting for extended periods.
Industrial Sewer Qualifications:
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with industrial sewing machines.
- Familiarity with textile materials and their properties.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings is highly desirable.
- Prior experience in a general labor, warehouse, or manufacturing setting is a plus.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
