Temp-to-Hire position- $
18.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 07:00am to03:30pm )
1st shift Roll Former Operator
Full-time position1st Shift.
Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm. Overtime may be required based on business needs
Job Summary:
The Roll Former Operator is responsible for operating roll-forming equipment to manufacture metal building components according to production specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
Essential Job Duties
- Operate roll-forming machinery and related production equipment.
- Set up and adjust machine settings to meet production specifications.
- Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and production schedules.
- Monitor production runs to ensure quality and efficiency standards are met.
- Inspect finished products and verify dimensions using tape measures, calipers, and other measuring tools.
- Identify and report quality issues, material defects, or equipment malfunctions.
- Load raw materials and remove finished products from the production line.
Roll Former Operator Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous manufacturing, machine operation, or metal fabrication experience preferred.
- Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and reach throughout the shift.
- Frequently lift, carry, push, or pull materials up to 50 pounds
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
