Assembly Field Service Technician Details:
Contract to Hire position- $
25.00 to $ 28.00 / hour First Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 07:00am to04:00pm )
- Off early at 2:30pm on Fridays!
- Pay increase after probationary period.
- Assemble, install, and commission packaging and food processing equipment from start to finish.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and service electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and automation systems at customer facilities.
- Provide customer training, technical support, and product guidance during equipment installations and service visits.
- Complete daily service reports, work logs, and documentation while managing multiple projects and priorities.
- Travel to domestic and international customer sites to perform equipment setup, maintenance, and support.
Assembly Field Service Technician Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Electrical Field Service Technician experience, preferably within the food processing or food manufacturing industry.
- Strong electronics knowledge, PLC/automation programming experience, and the ability to read mechanical and electrical schematics.
- Experience troubleshooting, repairing, and servicing electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic equipment; familiarity with machine shop equipment is preferred.
- Must be able to work independently, travel up to 50% domestically and internationally, operate a forklift safely, and maintain a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
- Technical or college degree preferred; must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and demonstrate strong communication, customer service, and job-site safety skills.
