Temp-to-Hire position- $
26.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 07:00am to03:30pm )
The Machine Shop Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the proper maintenance and repair of computer numerical control (CNC) machines in a manufacturing facility.
- Performing regular maintenance on CNC machines involves inspecting, cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting machines to ensure they operate efficiently and accurately.
- Diagnosing and repairing machine problems identifying and troubleshooting issues with CNC machines, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and software-related problems.
- Conducting preventive maintenance.
- Keeping records of machine maintenance by documenting maintenance schedules, repairs, and parts used to maintain an accurate maintenance history.
- Ordering and stocking machine parts ensuring that necessary parts are ordered and stocked to minimize machine downtime.
Maintenance Technician Qualifications:
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree or technical certification in mechanical or electrical engineering, or related field.
- Experience in maintenance and repair of CNC Lathe, Mill, Grinders, Hydraulic Broach, Saw machines, Overhead crane, Forklift and miscellaneous equipment.
- Familiarity with various CNC software interfaces, such as FANUC and SIEMENS
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
