Press Operator Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
23.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 06:00am to02:30pm )
- Properly thread raw material through the die and each station of the machine.
- Operate machinery according to established production requirements and procedures.
- Produce quality parts that meet specified standards.
- Inspect parts during production to ensure they conform to quality requirements.
- Follow all in-process inspection procedures and work instructions.
- Identify and report quality issues or suspected nonconforming products.
- Place suspected nonconforming products on hold when necessary.
Press Operator Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred; or 1–3 months of related experience and/or training; or An equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Manufacturing or machine-operating experience is a plus, but not necessarily required.
- Ability to read and understand safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to complete basic production reports and routine documentation.
- Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to calculate basic rates, ratios, and percentages.
- Ability to follow written, verbal, and diagram-based instructions.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
