Brake Press Operator Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
20.00 to $ 26.00 / hour Full Time work availableVarious shifts available ( Monday throughFriday )
- Set up, program, and operate brake press machinery to bend, form, and shape metal components according to blueprints and specifications.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
- Perform quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, protractors, and other precision measuring instruments.
- Troubleshoot machine and programming issues to ensure production quality and minimize downtime.
- Verify completed parts meet customer and engineering requirements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by reducing setup times and increasing production efficiency.
- Safely handle materials and complete forklift (hi-lo) training as required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Brake Press Operator Qualifications:
- Previous Brake Press Operator experience is required
- Experience setting up, programming, and operating brake press equipment
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Experience using precision measuring tools including calipers, micrometers, and protractors
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Commitment to quality, safety, and productivity
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
