Building Maintenance Technician
The Building Maintenance Technician supports the daily operations of residential and commercial properties by performing repairs, preventive maintenance, and safety inspections. This role ensures buildings remain safe, functional, and well-maintained for tenants, staff, and visitors.

Building Maintenance Technician Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
18.00 to $ 20.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 08:00am to05:00pm )
- Perform routine repairs on doors, windows, flooring, drywall, locks, and fixtures
- Replace filters, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with licensed technicians when needed for both residential and commercial HVAC systems
- Address leaks, clogs, running toilets, and minor pipe repairs for both residential and commercial plumbing systems
- Replace outlets, switches, lighting, and troubleshoot minor electrical issues
- Conduct scheduled inspections of building systems, equipment, and common areas
- Ensure fire alarms, emergency lighting, and safety equipment meet code requirements
- Respond to maintenance requests promptly and professionally, providing excellent customer service
- Maintain accurate logs of completed work, inspections, and supply inventory

Building Maintenance Technician Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Demonstrated technical knowledge in general building maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC basics
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools safely
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, capable of interacting effectively with tenants, vendors, and property managers
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs occasionally and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, climbing, and standing for extended periods
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
