Forklift Operator - 1st Shift Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
14.00 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
First Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 07:00am to03:30pm )
This person will assist in the offloading of sea containers as described above. When not processing sea containers (75% of the time), this person will operate a Bendi Forklift to pick orders from the warehouse. The use of a RF scan gun and accurately counting is critical to this task. Attendance is also important in this role.
Forklift Operator - 1st Shift Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous warehouse, distribution, or material handling experience.
- Experience operating a Bendi Forklift or other narrow-aisle forklift equipment preferred.
- Ability to safely unload and process sea containers.
- Proficient in the use of RF scan guns and warehouse management systems.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately count, verify, and track inventory.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and established operating procedures.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and operate equipment for extended periods.
