Shop Hand
Seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Shop Hand to assist with the assembly, repair, and refurbishment of large pumping units. This is a hands-on position working alongside experienced pump mechanics in a fast-paced industrial shop environment.

Shop Hand Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
18.00 to $ 20.00 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
First Shift ( Monday throughSaturday )
- Assist with daily shop operations
- Help maintain a clean and organized work area
- Support mechanics with repairs and projects
- Use hand, pneumatic, and hydraulic tools
- Prepare, grind, deburr, and clean parts • Set up machines and equipment
- Keep machines supplied with materials
- Move materials and parts throughout the shop
- Operate forklifts and overhead cranes
- Perform general shop maintenance
Shop Hand Qualifications:
Required:
- 1+ years of shop hand experience in heavy industrial setting required
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to read tape measures and other measurement tools
- Ability to safely work with a variety of hand and power tools
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently after training
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Previous forklift operating experience preferred
- Dependable attendance and a positive work ethic
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
