MIG Welder Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
21.00 to $ 22.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughThursday from 06:00am to04:30pm )
- Set up and operate welding equipment
- Perform quality welds according to specifications
- Read blueprints and weld symbols,
- Ensure all work meets AWS standards.
- Be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and experienced in producing high-quality welds in a manufacturing environment.
- Prepare and set-up weld machines at the start of and during the work shift
- Repair and correction of any welding discontinuities identified by quality control
MIG Welder Qualifications:
- Familiarity with welding equipment
- Possess a general knowledge of the fundamentals of welding
- Qualify and be proficient in performance of company Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS’)
- Demonstrate the ability to change the settings on welding machine to comply with ranges required on company WPS’
- Understand and weld within limits and tolerances of AWS D1.1 Code
- Ability to prepare and weld multiple joints to AWS Standards
- Expertise in reading and comprehension of blueprints
- Have knowledge and a clear understanding of weld symbols
- Ability to stand for the entire shift of 10 hours
- Previous MIG Welding experience of 3+ years
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
