System Assembly Technician Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
17.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday )
- Assembles water treatment systems based on technical drawings and bill of materials.
- Assembles systems using hand and power tools. Assembly may include, but not be limited to, gluing PVC pipe; fitting both PVC and steel pipe; attaching pumps, motors, vessels and other components with bolts and screws; and mounting conduit, pulling wires, installing control panels and terminating wire and cable connections.
- Must meet production schedule deadlines to assure timely shipping to customers.
- Must be able to safely and properly use common hand tools in addition to saws, drills, and other power tools and other equipment as required. Must be computer literate.
System Assembly Technician Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED and three (3) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to computer rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret for graphs.
- Must have valid driver's license with clean driving record. No restricted licenses.
- Applicant may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Report
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
