Crate Builder Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
16.00 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
First Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 07:00am to03:30pm )
A Wooden Crate Builder constructs, assembles, and repairs wooden crates, pallets, and packaging materials used for shipping and storage. This role involves working with hand tools, power tools, measuring equipment, and following blueprints or work orders to ensure crates are built safely, accurately, and to customer specifications. Attention to detail, craftsmanship, and safety awareness are essential.
Crate Builder Qualifications:
- Previous experience in crate building, carpentry, woodworking, manufacturing, or construction preferred.
- Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, nail guns, saws, and measuring devices.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, work orders, and specifications.
- Strong measuring, cutting, and assembly skills with attention to detail
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work in a physically demanding environment for extended periods.
- Basic math skills, including measuring and calculating dimensions
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
