Warehouse Forklift Operator Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
17.00 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
First Shift ( Monday throughSaturday from 07:00am to04:00pm )
- Operate a sit-down forklift to safely load and unload products from trailers.
- Strictly adhere to all company safety requirements and protocols at all times.
- Maintain accurate inventory by diligently handling and placing products.
- Navigate and operate forklift in diverse areas, including pet food manufacturing zones, shipping/receiving yards, and in and out of freezer units.
- Floors may be wet and slippery at times, requiring constant awareness.
Warehouse Forklift Operator Qualifications:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally without injury.
- Capacity to sit for extended periods while operating a forklift.
- Comfortable working consistently in a cold environment, including frequent exposure to and movement in and out of freezers.
- Previous certification and proven experience operating a sit-down forklift.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to procedures.
- Ability to work a full-time schedule, including Saturdays and potential overtime.
- Basic understanding of inventory practices.
- Needs to be bilingual - Spanish/English.
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
