Electrical Designer Details:
Direct Hire position- $
90,000.00 to $ 125,000.00 / annually First Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 08:00am to04:30pm )
- Create, revise, and maintain electrical power, control, and instrumentation drawings using AutoCAD Electrical and AutoCAD, working from engineering markups, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics to support product design updates, new product development, and engineering projects.
- Manage bills of materials (BOMs), parts data, and product documentation while collaborating with procurement to ensure timely delivery of quality products.
- Work closely with engineers, designers, manufacturing, and operations teams to resolve design challenges, support troubleshooting efforts, and improve drawing accuracy and efficiency.
- Participate in design reviews and engineering meetings, apply applicable electrical codes and industry standards, and provide guidance to entry-level drafters and designers as needed.
Electrical Designer Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, CAD Design, or a related field, with 4+ years of electrical design and troubleshooting experience.
- Ability to read, interpret, and work from electrical drawings, blueprints, schematics, circuit diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Proficient in identifying electrical symbols, design callouts, and applying electrical principles to support design and production activities.
- Strong mathematical aptitude, including electrical load calculations, voltage calculations, dimensions, percentages, geometry, and basic algebra.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams, complete documentation such as NCRs, and maintain compliance with safety standards.
